About
I'm Ula. I spent 18 years in corporate and all I got was this T-shirt company.
HR, then Chief People Officer. Startups, M&A, scale-ups. I ran the icebreakers. I sat in the calibration meetings. I knew what "we're going in a different direction" meant before you did. My childhood dream was comedy, but my family felt strongly about rent, so I went into HR and turned my dreams into policies.
Then I went in a different direction myself.
HR Gone Wild exists because of a loophole: there are things you cannot say at work, and every single one of them is allowed if it's funny. A joke walks through doors a complaint never will. So the shirt does the talking. You just wear it to the offsite and let everyone decide privately whether it's about them.
For the record, nobody did anything wrong. We all inherited the same rituals and agreed to keep a straight face. I stopped keeping mine. This store is what fell out.
If the jokes feel too accurate, that's the experience talking. I took the notes. I just print them now.
The shareholders are doing great, by the way. Really strong quarter.
